Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. We keep them to a minimum. Advertising and analytics cookies are only set if you choose “Accept all” in our cookie banner.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are needed for the site to work, so they don’t need your consent.

• WooCommerce (woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_*) – remember your basket and checkout. Kept for the session, up to 2 days.
• WordPress (wordpress_*, wordpress_logged_in_*) – keep you signed in to your account.
• Security and performance (__cf_bm, cf_clearance) – set by Cloudflare to protect the site from bots and attacks. Kept for up to 30 minutes.
• Payments (Stripe and PayPal) – used during checkout to process payment securely and prevent fraud.

Your consent choice

• Minko’s Gaming (minko_consent) – remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies. Kept for 6 months.

Advertising and analytics cookies (only with your consent)

If you choose “Accept all”, we load the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, owner of Facebook and Instagram). It tells us when someone who saw our adverts visits the site, books a repair, contacts us or places an order, so we can measure and improve our adverts and show relevant offers on Facebook and Instagram.

The events we measure are: pages, products and repair services viewed, product searches, items added to the basket, checkout started, completed and paid orders (order value and products), completed enquiry and sell-your-device forms, confirmed repair bookings, and taps on our call or WhatsApp buttons. We also note which advert or website sent you (for example “facebook”) and the branch for a booking. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, postal address or message content to Meta.

• Meta (_fbp, _fbc) – kept for up to 3 months. See Meta’s cookie policy.
• Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) – if we switch on Google Analytics, it only loads after you accept and is used to count visits and the same events listed above. Kept for up to 13 months. See Google’s cookie policy.
• Minko’s Gaming (minko_src, browser session storage) – remembers which advert or website brought you to the site for the current visit only. Deleted when you close the tab.

If you choose “Reject non-essential”, the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics are not loaded and none of these cookies are set. Google tags run in “consent mode” with all storage denied until you accept.

Embedded content

Our homepage shows our latest Instagram and TikTok posts. Clicking a post takes you to Instagram or TikTok, whose own cookie and privacy policies then apply.

Managing cookies

You can change your choice at any time: open cookie settings. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, the basket and checkout will not work.
