Terms of Service

These terms apply when you book a repair, buy a product or sell a device to Minko’s Gaming Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 15459933), whose registered office and shop is at 9 Manor Park Parade, Lee High Road, Lewisham, London SE13 5PB ([email protected] · 020 8037 0653). Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

1. Repairs

• Prices. Prices shown include VAT. Fixed-price services include PS5 HDMI port replacement, deep clean, liquid metal application and custom PC builds. Other repairs are quoted as labour plus parts. We will confirm the price before starting work and will not do any extra work without your approval.
• Diagnosis. Where a fault needs investigation, an £80 minimum diagnostic fee applies. If you go ahead with the repair, we will tell you whether the fee is deducted from the repair price.
• Data. Please back up your device before handing it in. We take care not to affect your data, but some faults and repairs (for example board, storage or software repairs) carry a risk of data loss.
• Existing damage and liquid damage. Devices with liquid damage, previous third-party repairs or heavy physical damage can develop further faults during or after a repair. We will tell you about any known risk before we start.
• Parts. We use quality new or compatible parts sourced from reputable UK suppliers, and we will tell you if a part is not manufacturer-original. Replaced parts are recycled unless you ask to keep them.
• Warranty. Repairs carry a 90-day warranty on the parts fitted and the work carried out. It does not cover new accidental damage, liquid damage, or tampering after the repair. This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights.
• Sales warranty. Products we sell for over £500 carry a one-year warranty, and products under £500 carry a 90-day warranty. This is in addition to your statutory rights.
• Collection. We will contact you when your device is ready. If a device is not collected within 90 days of us notifying you, and we have made reasonable attempts to contact you, we may sell or recycle it to recover our costs, as the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977 allows.

2. Buying from us

• Our Returns and Warranty Policy and Delivery Information form part of these terms.
• Your order is accepted when we email you to confirm it. If an item is unavailable or incorrectly priced, we will contact you before we take payment, or refund you in full.
• For online orders, you have 14 days to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

3. Selling your device to us

• You must be at least 18, own the device and have the right to sell it. You must remove all accounts (for example PlayStation Network, Xbox, Apple ID or Google) and any activation locks.
• We will ask for photo ID and may check the device against lost and stolen registers. We will not buy devices that are reported lost or stolen, or that we have good reason to believe are, and we may report them to the police.
• Our offer may change after we inspect the device if its condition differs from what you told us. You can then accept the new offer or have the device returned to you.

4. Payment

We accept cash, card, bank transfer and Klarna in store, and card or PayPal online. Payment for repairs is due when you collect your device.

5. Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. We are not responsible for business losses where you use a device for business purposes.

6. Complaints and disputes

If something goes wrong, please contact us first and we will try to put it right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or in Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
