The Alpenföhn Brocken 4 Max is a dual tower CPU cooler. Its German engineering and intelligent design allow this CPU cooler to draw heat away from your processor with great efficacy. There are six 6mm heat pipes and a nickel-plated copper baseplate with optimised connectivity, to siphon the waste heat from the CPU to the heatsink. Asymmetric, the heatsink has an extended surface area thanks to the aerodynamic fins. What’s more, the Alpenföhn Brocken 4 Max comes with thermal paste, pre-applied, for excellent thermal conductivity.
The Alpenföhn Brocken 4 Max is equipped with two JetStream fans, to optimise performance. Each is a 120mm PWM fan, but the front fan is 11mm slimmer and can reach slightly faster speeds. The RPM can be set between 400 and 1600 or 400 and 1800, depending on the fan. Each is whisper quiet at any speed thanks to the hydraulic bearing. Plus, with the airflow-optimised impeller and advanced frame design, these fans operate smoothly, even at maximum performance. Vibrations are kept to a minimum, too, with the inclusion of anti-vibration pads.
Should you need more thermal performance, there is the option to mount a third fan. Four fan clips are included and the mounting process is very simple.
